Alpha Education and Training SC was established in 1986 by the one visionaryEthiopian who establish institute of National Vocational and Technical Distance Education enterprise in 1981 E.C with the aim of contributing to the fight against poverty in our country.
The mission of the corporation is to expand the educational institutions in the country and provide quality education services through regular and distance education delivery methods. The company to make this reality the corporation strengthened its distance education. In addition to this the company expanded its educational institutions at all levels to provide educational services from kindergarten to university.

Alpha University College
Alpha University College was established in 1997 E.C at 1,532 square meter building to provide a variety of educational programs. It locatedabout 200 meters across the road from Addis AbabaAratkilloSquare to Megenagnanear M.Y.C.A.
Among variety of educational programs provided by the university college some of them are listed below:
- Regular education teaches undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
- Distance education techesin a bachelor’s degree.
